Debra Ravasia, MD, FACOG
Dr. Ravasia is an obstetrician/gynecologist and is founder of the Women's Health Connection, PS. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in both the USA and Canada. This means she has completed examinations necessary to provide a high standard of care within her field.
Dr. Ravasia sees a wide variety of gynecologic conditions, and has a special interest in urogynecology. Her medical training was completed at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, and her residency completed at the University of Calgary Foothills Medical Center. She worked in North Dakota as a busy general OB/Gyn before moving to Spokane to be closer to mountains, family, and a great school for her kids.
Dr. Ravasia has published a number of research trials related to obstetrics and gynecology, and enjoys giving lectures and presentations both for OB/Gyn meetings, as well as for the general public.
When not working, Dr. Ravasia, enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, skiing and aerobics. |

Kay Nash, MS, RD, PA-C
Kay comes to the Women’s Health Connection with an extensive background in nutrition, as well as being a physician assistant. This is a combination that works well, as she will be in charge of the Metabolic Weight loss program, as well as the cardiac and cholesterol management program and well women’s health exams. Kay received her Bachelor of Science degrees from Montana State University. Her Physician Assistant training was obtained at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
Kay has many interests, but spends much of her time caring for her 4 dogs, 2 cats and the occasional feral kittens that she helps foster. She enjoys gardening, hiking and cross country skiing. |

Lorraine Mazurek, MBA
Lorraine comes to Women’s Health with 23 years of experience in Health care. She started as a Certified Medical Assistant and gradually made the transition to the business side of the medical arena. She obtained her AA at Pima College, in Tucson, Arizona and her BA in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a Regional Administrator for eight medical clinics in Boise, Idaho and has worked in speciality centers taking them into the 21st century.
She enjoys taking walks, gardening, interior design, spending time with her new husband and their two Yorkies. She recently moved from Coeur d’ Alene to the South Hill to be closer to her work. |

Alexis Baker, Billing Coordinator
Alexis comes to Women’s Health Connection with extensive knowledge and experience in Billing, Managing and Insurance. She has gained this from her experience working with Speciality Practices in Montana and New Mexico. She is a great asset to our team and for our patients.
Alexis enjoys decorating her home, gardening, bicycling and spending time with her husband and family. |

Kira came to Women’s Health Connection with many years of experience working in private practices as a front office staff member. She is very knowledgable in our computer systems and brings fresh ideas everyday to our practice.

Susan Hudson, CMA
Susan has worked in many different areas of healthcare. She received her Medical Assistant degree in 2002 with honors at Apollo College. She has been an instructor for Apollo College and has worked in Family Practice and most recently has come back home to Spokane from Alaska. She is very excited to be here with us.
She has two children and enjoys photography, reading, fishing, hunting and spending time with her family. |

Laura Meyer, CMA
Laura received her degree in Medical Assisting in 1996 at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, Wa. And has worked in Women’s Health ever since. Recently, Laura graduated from Ashmead School of Massage in Everett, WA. And is currently self-employed as a Licensed Massage Practitioner.
She enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, hiking, biking, quilting and beading in her spare time. |
